Refund & Cancellation Policy

Understanding Fin Root Capital's fair and transparent refund process.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which Fin Root Capital processes refunds and handles service cancellations. We are committed to treating all customers fairly and transparently in every financial interaction.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all services offered by Fin Root Capital, including:

  • Loan application processing fees
  • Financial advisory consultation fees
  • Credit assistance service fees
  • Financial planning charges

2. Loan Application Cancellation

2.1 Before Loan Disbursement

If you wish to cancel a loan application before disbursement of funds, you may do so by contacting Fin Root Capital at contact@finrootcapital.shop. Please note:

  • Cancellations requested before the loan agreement is signed will be processed at no charge.
  • If a processing fee has been collected and the loan has not been disbursed, Fin Root Capital will evaluate refund eligibility on a case-by-case basis.
  • Cancellations after loan agreement signing but before disbursement may incur a cancellation fee as specified in the loan agreement.

2.2 After Loan Disbursement

Once the loan amount has been disbursed to your bank account, the loan agreement is binding. Cancellation after disbursement is treated as a prepayment/foreclosure and will be subject to the prepayment terms outlined in your individual loan agreement with Fin Root Capital.

3. Processing Fee Refund Policy

Processing fees charged by Fin Root Capital are non-refundable once the loan application has been initiated and processing has commenced. However, Fin Root Capital may, at its sole discretion, offer a partial or full refund of the processing fee in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Loan rejection due to an error on Fin Root Capital's part.
  • Duplicate payment made by the customer.
  • Technical failure resulting in incorrect charge.
  • Cancellation requested within 24 hours of payment, before any processing has begun.

4. Advisory & Consultation Fees

For financial advisory and credit assistance consultations booked with Fin Root Capital:

  • Cancellation 48+ hours before the scheduled session: Full refund.
  • Cancellation 24–48 hours before the session: 50% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours before the session: No refund.
  • No-shows without prior notice: No refund.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds from Fin Root Capital will be processed as follows:

  • Credit/Debit card payments: 5–7 business days to the original card.
  • Net banking / UPI / wallet: 3–5 business days to the originating account.
  • NEFT/RTGS transfers: 2–3 business days.

Fin Root Capital will notify you via email at the registered email address once the refund has been initiated.

6. Prepayment & Foreclosure

Customers who wish to prepay or foreclose an active loan with Fin Root Capital may do so subject to:

  • Serving the minimum lock-in period as specified in the loan agreement.
  • Paying applicable prepayment charges (if any) as per the loan terms.
  • Providing 7 days advance written notice to Fin Root Capital.

Fin Root Capital offers zero prepayment charges on floating rate loans as per RBI guidelines.

7. EMI Reversal Policy

In the event of an erroneous EMI deduction by Fin Root Capital:

  • Report the issue immediately via email to contact@finrootcapital.shop.
  • Fin Root Capital will investigate and resolve the issue within 7 business days.
  • Confirmed erroneous deductions will be reversed or adjusted in the next EMI cycle.

8. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

To initiate a refund or cancellation request with Fin Root Capital:

  • Send an email to contact@finrootcapital.shop with subject line: "Refund/Cancellation Request – [Your Name] – [Loan/Service ID]".
  • Include your registered mobile number, the reason for the request, and any supporting documents.
  • Fin Root Capital's team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your refund request, you may escalate the matter to Fin Root Capital's Grievance Redressal Officer. We are committed to resolving all disputes within 30 days of receipt. Unresolved disputes may be referred to the Banking Ombudsman or appropriate regulatory authority.

10. Changes to This Policy

Fin Root Capital reserves the right to modify this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time. The updated policy will be posted on our website. Continued use of Fin Root Capital's services after any changes implies acceptance of the revised terms.
